I was tasked with redesigning a banking app header and ATM interface UI designer. The main issues were a cluttered block looking heading on the app layout and a cumbersome ATM menu, leading to user frustration. My approach was to simplify both interfaces. For the app, I aimed for a with a warm soft angle curve using the companies swoosh and intuitive iconography to ease navigation with a strong leading header hero image. For the ATM, I focused on reducing menu complexity by adding contrasting background images and keeping in mind color filters and enlarging buttons for better usability and less eye strain.
After implementing the redesign, user feedback was positive. The app set forth the new design direction for visuals keeping brand identity in-mind. Growing user engagement thanks to clearer and warm happy visuals. The ATM redesign resulted in user satisfaction, with fewer square looking design. This project demonstrated how focused UI limitations and improvements can significantly enhance user experience and operational efficiency in banking services.
